About

I’m a computer engineer who loves making projects on my own home-lab. Once I come up with an idea, I try my best to make it real and share my process with everyone interested in it.

Some friends have asked me why can’t I just relax watching the TV or playing games, instead of working on my home-lab “suffering”, as they say, because of all the problems I face in each project. But I love solving problems, analyzing solutions and building gadgets.

All my love for electronics came from my father, who worked as a radio repair technician. He gave me a very old book called “From the Electron to the Superheterodyne” (Del Electrón al Superheterodino) from Philips, which was an introductory book in electronics repairing.

That was the beginning of my passion for electronics. The moment that book became too small for me, I tried my first electronic project. I found online the schematics and instructions to build an FM radio transmitter. It was a complete disaster, but I didn’t loose my hope on electronics.

When I discovered Arduino, I visited my local electronic store and bought an original Arduino UNO (from Italy), which I had to pay with a huge part of my savings. However, it opened a world of electronics and computing for me to immerse in.
